Message from Ifat Ovadia-Luski Chairwoman KKL-JNF and Representative of the World Likud

My Dear Friends, The World Likud Family,

A year ago, the State of Israel was attacked in a barbaric terrorist assault. In a single day, we experienced destruction unseen for eighty years, and the attack on October 7th quickly turned into a war for our very existence.

OvadiaAlongside the war in Israel, waves of antisemitism erupted across the world. We saw during this conflict how the connection between Jews in the Diaspora and Israel is strong and inseparable. We share a bond of fate and a true partnership.s

From the very first moment of the war, we at Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael (KKL) mobilized for the national effort. As Chairman of the Board of Directors, and of course as a leading member of the World Likud community, I led decisions to support the south and the north in all areas:s

In security, we supported emergency response units in the south, the north, Judea and Samaria, and border communities.x

In agriculture, we assisted farmers who lost their livelihood on October 7th after Hamas burned and destroyed fields, dairy farms, chicken coops, and agricultural lands.s

In education, we helped evacuate residents from danger zones and continue to support them today with educational and recreational activities.s

In community settlement, KKL is building a new neighborhood in Kibbutz Ruhama for the residents of Kibbutz Kfar Aza.s

Together with you, our partners in the World Likud, we will continue to fulfill the vision of a safe and secure Israel, the homeland for the Jewish people.

May the new year bring better days for the State of Israel and the Jewish people. We will all pray for the success of the IDF soldiers and for the swift and safe return of the hostages to their homes.s

Shana Tova
